Napa Valley Wine Library Association
60th Annual Grand Tasting

Sunday, April 28, 2024 3:30 to 6 p.m.
In The Grove at Silverado Resort & Spa
1600 Atlas Peak Road Napa Valley

Come to the Silverado Resort located in the eastern hill of Napa California and join 60 local wineries proudly pouring their favorite vintages. This event is six decades of excellence in wine education appreciation, dating back to the first tasting open to the public in 1963. Unlike the tradition of traditions in older countries, the mobility of the American spirit does not lend itself to cherishing history. We worship the new, bright and every changing: change for change’s sake. We know winemaking captivates the entrepreneurial spirit, but how do we know what element of the Earth will nurture the best Cabernet Sauvignon? How do we as newcomers tap into traditions of an ancient art? Arns Estate Grown Cabernet celebrates 28 years with NV Wine Library. It means a great deal to support the wine library and our heritage in the wine industry. Come shake hands with the winemakers who make our industry sing. Enjoy the beauty of Silverado Country Club and taste Arns library wine, current releases and hear our story of tradition.
Tickets include membership – a very valuable asset

“41st Annual LMU Wine Classic”

A Fundraiser to support

The Arthur P. Carroll Endowed Scholarship

Join us to support the LMU Arthur P. Carroll Endowed Scholarship Sunday, February 4, 2024, 2 – 5 p.m. Loyola Marymount University, Albert Gersten Pavilion, l LMU Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90046
Who is Art Carroll? If you knew only five people in your lifetime that you would consider your best life friend, it would be Art Carroll. Art attended LMU and graduated in the 1950’s. “Giving Back” was Art’s motto. He wanted to do something to support his Alma Mata and incorporate his love of wine which fell right into place to set up a fund raiser to support his friends and the future students. Forty-three years ago, a wine tasting and silent auction was established with proceeds going to student scholarships. Art got on the phone and called all his favorite wineries and little by little this event grew from five wineries to forty in 2024. Throughout these events, more than $1 million dollars has been appropriated for students in need to carry on their research and studies.
Bid on ARNS 3L bottle: 2010 Estate Grown Cabernet: hand etched, hand painted and signed by the winemaker.
